Role Overview:
The Physiotherapist will be responsible for evaluating patients’ physical conditions, developing customized treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions to help them recover from injuries, surgeries, chronic conditions, and physical impairments. The role involves working closely with doctors, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed assessments of patients’ physical conditions, functional limitations, and therapy needs.
- Design and implement personalized physiotherapy treatment plans aimed at restoring movement, reducing pain, and improving strength and coordination.
- Provide rehabilitation support for patients recovering from orthopaedic injuries, neurological disorders, surgeries, or chronic illnesses.
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, posture correction, lifestyle modifications, and preventive care techniques.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary medical teams to integrate physiotherapy into broader treatment plans.
- Ensure safe, hygienic, and patient-friendly therapy practices in accordance with clinical standards.
Preferred Skills:
- Specialization or experience in areas such as orthopaedics, neurology, sports rehabilitation, paediatrics, or geriatric care.
- Ability to operate physiotherapy equipment and utilize digital tools for patient assessment and documentation.
- Experience in conducting group therapy sessions, workshops, or preventive healthcare programs.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy (BPT/MPT) from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration/license with the relevant state or national physiotherapy council.
- Minimum 1–5 years of clinical experience in a hospital, medical centre, or rehabilitation setting (freshers with strong skills may also be considered).
- Strong knowledge of physiotherapeutic techniques, rehabilitation protocols, and patient assessment methods.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and patient counselling skills.
- Empathetic and patient-focused approach with a commitment to quality care.
